• They approved subprime loans at almost the same rate as Countrywide, the poster child for the housing market collapse.

• They issued subprime loans at a rate of 47% to African-American borrowers, compared with 10% for white borrowers. 


• They are under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice for predatory lending practices against African Americans during the housing crisis.

• Wells Fargo got a 2010 federal tax subsidy of OVER $4.42 BILLION. Maryland’s share of this massive corporate tax giveaway comes to OVER $82 MILLION.
